¶ Overview
Phantom Brigade supports modding, allowing for a wide variety of changes ranging from simple balance tweaks to new scenarios, abilities and items.
We recommend downloading mods from the following sources:
- BYG Discord: #phantom-modding channel
- Nexus Mods
To install a mod, unpack it into AppData/Local/PhantomBrigade/Mods. This directory is automatically created on game startup. If you're having trouble finding the directory, click the “Local mods” button in the Mods tab of the main menu: the game will open it in Windows Explorer. Once a mod is correctly unpacked, it will be applied on game startup. Applied mods will be listed in the top right corner of the main menu and listed in the Mods tab of the main menu.
¶ Notes
- While we encourage modding, we need to highlight that modded game sessions are not officially supported. We will not accept bug reports, analytics or crash reports submitted through modded game sessions.
- If you experience an issue with a mod, we encourage you to contact the mod developer for support.
- If you'd like to temporarily disable a mod, you can uncheck a toggle next to it in the Mods tab of the main menu. The change to the active mod list will be applied after you restart the game.
- To permanently delete a mod, remove its directory from
PhantomBrigade/Mods.
